Oh, didn’t post this here when it happened because initially there was speculation over sources etc..
But Daft Punk’s press people sent out a press release stating the album will not be coming out in June. Don’t worry, it’s still coming soon, just not as early as Paul Williams said.
Ahh well.

Well, what finally worked was I had to dampen the wrinkled half of the pages, very gently pull the wrinkles out, then stick the pages inside a heavy book (which I weighted down with a few more books.) Yesterday the delightful documentary Paul Williams: Still Alive played at the SXSW Film Festival, and in the Q&A afterwards Williams dropped a bombshell.
He has written some songs for Daft Punk, and has recorded some stuff they may use. This material will appear on their new album, coming “maybe June.”
So, looks like this is our first idea of a release date for studio album...
